I have a theory that Evelyn died on her and Arden’s wedding day, so he made a deal with the witch, that if Evelyn didn’t go to the underworld or the afterlife they would both be reincarnated over and over again and he would kill her over and over…or this is the only way to escape the witch. And her forgetting some of her past is bc she figured it out in those memories.
