I am loving this & that the FMC is a widow mom! I did get a bit turned of with a part of the book that seemed written with the sole purpose of saying there’s representation on here. It didn’t flow well with the story and the character showed up randomly to tell her they don’t trust anyone then proceeded to tell her he is transgender his WHOLE story and that only 3 people know it made no sense.
