Just gotten up to the Tookah trial, I am really enjoying the plot of this book. The world-building, and creatures is really immersive and interesting. That's what fantasy is all about to me, an entirely new world to submerge yourself into and learn all of the lore! I'm confused to see that his book has an average rating of 3.9. I will just have to see how it ends to find out why there have been such negative reviews!

“The other” has been introduced, followed by the goriest scene so far…
I’m really enjoying the world Parker builds in this book. The way characters can wield the elements through song is beautiful and striking.
