I really think that it is sweet that her whole name is after someone who had fought for her country because there is a connection between her and Malala. She is very inspired by Malalai and that is something that makes their connection unique. People didn't know there would be a connection but there actually is a very big connection

I like the fact that the author uses words from her language, it is very interesting and gives me more knowledge. It also makes it more challenging but reminds me that I should remember the story well including those words. An example is the word "Mufti", it is a muslim legal expert who is empowered to give rulings on religious matters.

The setting of her village in this book was a very poor place which reminds me of poor streets I can sometimes see when I am in a car in a lot of countries. Balls made out of plastic, hungry kids for example. I am happy that Malala and her family kept working hard and were grateful for what they had. This connects to the fact that a lot of poor people are happier than a lot of rich people.

I really like the fact that along the book Malala gives us words from her country. It is very weird but I can remember a few words in her language and it is very cool to learn words from another language just by reading a book.

I am about to start the chapter "The Village". I think that it will be about the village she lived in. She has talked about a lot if different things in her life and her village and home are probably going to be about the way she lived and maybe the neighbours she had.

Malala's father is muslim and has very strong beliefs for his religion. One thing that I find very special about Malala's father is that he actually cared about human equality between different genders. I really think that the fact that he wants women to have the same rights as men is unique and special for someone in the old days.

Malala's father felt a difference between his sisters and him that he didn't find right when the men would get more then the women. Malala is a lot like her father and wants both men and women to be equal which I think is going to connect to when she is going to take action for her own human rights.

I am about to start the second chapter of this book and I wonder what it is about. The title is ''my father the falcon'' so I am guessing that it is about the father and things that make her father special to her. So far I personally think that 'I am Malala' is a great book and I really can't wait to see more of it. The book has talked about Malala's beginning life so far and I hope to find out more about this book!!

As she introduces her birth, I feel like her life is like a normal life these days). I think that she was lucky to have a loving and caring father back then because her dad wants her to have the same rights as man and supports everything she does. I really touches me to know that she has such an amazing father.

Malala doesn't think that she will get shot but that her father might get shot. I personally think that she should still be careful because even if she will be the first girl being shot anything can happen.

The book is starting to introduce Malala. I'm not used to non-fiction books but I like the fact that they directly say who she was and how she died without too much details. I am guessing that as the book goes on we will know everything about Malala's story.
