I didn’t really have much idea of this book when I bought it. At first, I found it slow and confusing; I didn’t know if this book was for me, but I gave it a chance and I’m so glad I did. You slowly see the relationship build between Magda and Emerence. Emerence is everything Magda dislikes, but there is still a part of Magda that wants to know Emerence deep down and it’s haunting her.
