I have begun this new book, and I must say it is intriguing. This is the tale that it used to justify slavery here in the U.S. I don't understand the reasoning behind calling the women that the Brits chose to marry wenches? It is nuts; they did not have to marry them. Oh, they were Christians so they say who treated other humans as mere cargo. What valiant heroes they weren't lol.
