Can't believe the people who broke his car because he "broke a strike" that would have caused dozens of patients to die. Can't believe people can be so egoistical, idiotic and frankly, inhumane.

I knew that Sacks's mother wasn't exactly normal, when in the first memoir he described her as someone who killed malformed babies without telling the parents and then brought said dead babies home to dissect them, so it was no surprise when it's revealed she's a raging homophobe, ready to discard a "defective" son as soon as she discovered they were homosexual, or disabled. Some disgustin people shouldn't have kids.
