I need some help figuring out the personality of one of my book characters (he’s going to be the love interest of the fmc)
The fmc, Laurel, is smart, reckless, sarcastic, defiant, but secretly worries about whether her actions will harm those close to her.
What’s a good personality for her love interest? I want him to be humorous in a way, but i need some more detail.

hmmm well one thing would be trusting so like if he trusted her not to harm him that would go well with Laurel's fear

Calm, if she is street smart make him book smart, he is defiant but subtle in it while she is fully out there with it, also he is more hesitant with his actions. Kind of reminds me of Mr. Knightly and Emma if you need some inspo🙃
I’d say he’s calm and a tad bit cautious, that way he can maybe contain a bit of Laurel’s recklessness!
If she is reckless he should be afraid of getting in trouble, kind, average smart I guess this sounds interesting I would love to read some
@lauren I finished my first edition a year ago but I realized that there were too many plot holes and it wasn’t well planned out
