The plot thickens. It’s jus given another glimmer of something from Duskbound. So definitely good to read that first!

Xül reminds me of Klaus Mikaelson with his sassy one liners.

This is great so far. Our FMC is equal measure tragically affected and sassy. The magical power is fresh and unique.

I do have a little reservation though…

I hope Xül is not the MMC endgame though… or perhaps we aren’t meant to connect with him yet..? He is giving arrogant & slightly creepy energy.
