46 years on this earth and I finally figured out what makes me like certain books more than others: I have to have a vested interest in the character. I want imaginary friends who I follow along through their life. The plot can be complete illogical chaos, but as long as I have an emotional attachment (love or hate) to my imaginary friend, I’m locked in. This book has it.
