This daily section discusses how we often view ourselves as in a productivity debt with our work and home tasks, leading us to socially isolate.
It mentions how we often forget our tasks once completed, and recommends we keep a “done list” so we can review our wins.
He says this practice will prevent us from feeling constantly behind, allowing us to complete major projects with more joy and less effort.

“Treat your to-read list as a flowing stream rather than a bucket”
By this, the author means we should use our to-read lists of books, articles, and podcasts as something we can pick selections from, rather than something we must fully accomplish.
With endlessly accumulating information, he argues that this will only increase our anxiety and decrease our joy.

I like the small, manageable, daily chunks of reading. This chapter emphasized that if you want to do something, you start doing it 5-15 minutes a day, once, instead of thinking of the big goal “I want to become a meditator” etc.
