I like the way this book is written. You get a cliffhanger and the next chapter is another persons story in possibly a different time. The characters are well written. I disliked the Van Laars from the off and the portrayal of their sense of entitlement because of their money was spot on. Then there are the other characters which I found myself caring about which is always a good sign. I haven’t finished yet!
