I had to skip 2 chapters because they were both one continuous sex scene and I'm just over it in this series. It's like 70% smut, 30% plot. I'd prefer if it was 70% plot, 30% smut. This series could have been finished in two books, maybe one, without the massive amount of boring and repetitive sex scenes. Get to the point already!

This arc focusing on Briar and Poet, though I mostly adore the MMC, has dragged on a book too long. I'm long past ready to be finished with it. The copious amount of sex scenes don't help. I just skip them now, because they are repetitive and pointless. If it wasn't every other scene, going on for an entire chapter each time, we could condense the plot, world building and character development into less than 2 books
