It gets better. The "Atlas" part of the story was emotional and well written. It came across as a surprise when Atlas was revealed to be the owner of that fancy new restaurant. I am curious to know about Atlas's journey although I can predict that Dr. Ryle is going to turn out to be a lot like Lily's father in all the unpleasant ways imaginable.

The unexpected has happened. They got married and the Atlas suspense is also over from Lily’s 16th birthday. I really can’t think of anything that could be left to bring up in this book unless there is some kind of heartfelt realisation which either results in cheating, divorce, or death.

I had higher expectations from this book after reading Verity. Till now it has been a sad trip down memory lane about a homeless lover, death of an abusive parent and a wild chase with a potential suitor in the most teenage manner one could imagine.
