Borrowed from Libby and re-listened to the whole book starting again on 12/24/25.

Ch 38: Rhysand x Feyre there is something brewing there. I don’t know if I can handle a love triangle. Tamlin and Feyre are supposed to be together right?! Feyre does seem to not be fond of Rhysand but that’s moody slow burns right. It’s is interesting how he goes about rooting for her while also well tied up with Amarantha (‘her whore’) supposedly. This book is living up to hype I’m sure hooked!

Ch 38: she’s been forced to do chores… ones that are impossible yet ally’s seem to grace Feyre and allow her to complete the tasks first Lucian’s mom as payment for sparing Lucian harm for her name. Next Rhysand (my early spellings are quite bad lol) sparing her from any further chores too. Feyre is bold with Rhysand. She’s asks a lot of questions and her filter seems to not be so closed off when she talks

Ch 37: Wow she’s rly refusing his bargain… she’s waiting til the last sec. She’s willing to sell her soul for Tamlin. 2 weeks every month for how long and why. Oh boy he’s toying with her. Lucian was punished for his warning. Desperate moves… negotiated to 1 week a month. CRAZY! Healed? Yet tatted with her bargain terms. Magic/deals need very careful attention she’s being used to hurt Tam ugh I’m dead

Ch 37: Feyre is injuries badly from her task. Infection seems to be looming no one has come. Did Lucian suffer consequences for warning her? Reasoned seems to appear in her cell tho he is intriguing hard to read. Bad or good he’s helping Feyre (he bet that she would win, ok wut). 2 wks living with him at nite court after the tasks. Why? Bargaining again she says no at first. Yikes she is going to take it tho

Ch 36: first task; it’s giving maze runner/Harry Potter bk 2 & bk 4, and Star Wars epi 2, Farrah is quite clever setting a trap of broken bones also covered herself in the mud to stop the scent of herself to give “sight” to the worm. She’s using herself as bait, the worm follows her blood from the cut she made on her palm. Her trap was a success. Katniss style weapon at the queen. OK Farrah! she’s hurt tho

Ch 35: a friendly face; Lucian came into her cell. He helped heal her. Also gave her a lecture about coming back haha. Farrah is able to get some info from Lucian. Magic has these terrible loopholes like the eye ring the queen has *gag* the queen conniving wants Farrah’s name goes to torture Lucian, once she gets her name she gives the riddle. Trying to play cards close to chest is proving difficult. Reasoned hmmm

Ch 34: this was a heavy hitter chpt! The deal included 3 months of living in the court, also completing 3 tasks on full moons. There was a way for her to break the curse though several ways actually. A riddle that if solved could free them immediately. Yikes! She’s invited in with a good beating then sent to live in the dungeons. I can’t imagine… could I have the same courage and drive like Farrah?

Ch 34: the queen is v scry poor Claire but queens down fall she likes to toy w her prey. She makes a deal that gives Farrah a chance. Is Tamlin under a spell or just using all his strength to play neutral w Farrah appearing? I’m sure Amarantha doesn’t fight far so playing your cards close is important. I just hope the deal they have doesn’t have loop holes that were missed by Farrah esp cuz Alice warned her

Ch 33-34: she made it to the mountain the place where amarantha is holding all the courts hostage. There was a shortcut which was interesting making her travels quite short. Of course she doesn’t last long on her own wandering the mountain palace. She was caught. Bad news bears. She’s barely knows what she’s working with in order to be successful in planning her rescue mission.
