Oh, how I love this book so far. Malachi is ... well, he gives off Lucifer vibes, from the show. I like that he was honest. Transparency you know. Chuck's reaction was very refreshing. In most books like these the main character freaks out, but no - not here. And it is a breath of fresh air! And he sings! And he is the most adorable K-9.
Also, let the mysteries begin to unravel. I love the mystery part. Loooove it.

Oh. Oh my. This book hasn't felt slow at all. It has been very well paced and just enough things are happening to keep it interesting until the plot truly jumps out and says "Hello!". Do I know in what direction it will go? Somewhat. Do I have an inkling as to what will happen? Yes and no. I have a thought, but that's pretty much it. I am already noticing a book hangover for when I finish these last 10%, lol.

Oh, so this book is about way more than Malachi being trapped as a dog. We've seen a new plot development and I am excited to see where it goes. And then... a mystery. We have fiction, mystery, incredible humor, a romance arc, urban fantasy ... This is a whole package of yummy goodness.

Oh. My. Goodness. This book. This author. This. Book. I am speechless. Firstly, before I've even jumped into the story she has me giggling. The content warnings? Whilst they warn of serious content, it's also.. some humoristic warnings. SHE MADE AN EFFORT TO MAKE CHAPTER TITLES GUYS! AND THEY ARE FILLED WITH FUN AND HUMOR - I LOVE IT!
Also... Malachi is a character for sure. Fun. Humor. Laughter. Giggles. Love it!
