Still loving the book, but as a sidenote on YA as a genre: just once, JUST ONCE, I would like to read a paranormal with high school involvement where the Prom, or its nearest equivalent, is of NO FUCKING RELEVANCE WHATEVER.

Really enjoying this book so far - after all the overwrought, heavily emotional YA been reading lately, the genuine humour and warmth here are definitely appreciated.
