The mystery surrounding the Sylvia thickens and pushes you to turn the page. Love that. Arin and Sylvia are growing closer but there isn't space or time to develop upon anything because factors that are outside of their control. Love that also. So much tension whether it be romantic or circumstantial in terms of world politics. I don't want to finish this book because the prose is so beautiful.

the tension is so thick I could NOT cut it with a knife. because it's that voluminous. the hate Sylvia and Arin harbour for one another is layered which elevates this MEAL of a book. the mystery and mind games are what pus you to turn the page. very nuanced characters. I'm absolutely in love with the story.
