I love Judith Butler. So much.
I just don’t feel I am the intended audience of this book, I knew their plan was to write for an audience outside the academy, so it is more accessible in tone. however, so far this book is surveyistic and explanatory, it’s scope is wide and it is not particularly active, nor encouraging action. It would better suit readers who have not had to confront trans and queer-phobic abuse
