Just finished book 2 so here’s another mini review.
I’m kind of glad I switched to audiobook, because I can speed it up, but short of skimming I can’t speed up my reading pace.
The storyline is interesting and the characters are well fleshed out, but this book would be significantly shorter if it didn’t have so much repetition.
3/5 so far, let’s see what book 3 has in store and how the story ends

Just finished book 1 in the series, so here's a mini review of it:
The overall pace is quite slow and the plot is moving very slowly, however the characters are really well written and realistic. There's some repetition throughout, though I wonder if that is more just the style of writing, for maximum impact. I still don't really know what the overall book/series is about, but I'm keen to keep reading and find out.
