What the heck just happened.

Cosimo discovers a fire spreading around him, and with his wit and intuitive nature he is able to assemble a team of people to build fire defences. He starts to discover what he thinks a “good person” is, but most importantly his Father greets him in the trees, and surrenders his acceptance to Cosimo’s way of life by handing over his sword.
