you can’t write a book about an indie rock band in california and be hesitant to write about coke. so far every character is reading really trope-y and the female lead who is supposed to be edgy and messy isn’t reading that way. GET MESSIER GIRL. i want to really see rock bottom, not be told that we’re at rock bottom.
