I don't know if I'm crazy but the wikipedia entry for this book that claims, "In the second part of the book, the narrator undergoes a change of mindset (Lewis would use the term conversion) and understands that her initial accusation was tainted by her own failings and shortcomings, and that the gods are lovingly present in humans' lives," is such a massive reduction of such a deeply dark and surreal ending. Wtf.

I'm simultaneously fascinated by this, but also am so confused by the enforcement of the publisher that this is a Christian moralist tale when so clearly it can be interpreted in so many different ways.
