Today I learned that because news outlets report on larger shootings, the average American believes that all shootings are huge. When in reality, those are the minority of all shootings. So Americans believe that shooters are mentally ill people that plan mass murders, when that is not the majority.
The solution of mental health assistance for these types of shooters only addresses a small part of the problem.
