Kitt proposed to her for some fucking reason I don’t understand why Calum would tell him to do that! Kai is destroyed he wants to take Paedyn away but he feels like he doesn’t deserve her! Like wtf, now Paedyn is trapped in a marriage she doesn’t want and can’t be with Kai, also she found out her dad was not actually her dad, she was left on his doorstep, and the ordinary disease is fake!!

They are falling for each other with every damn page, Kai is just being open at this point and Pae is sometimes but other times she stops herself because she thinks nothing will ever change so he justifies it by telling her to pretend. He told her about his sister and how she died and about how he only braided her hair and kisses her thumb and they just had a moment in the pool that feels like them again.

So much has happened, the resistance is no more but those who were left rescued Pae from Kai and took him prisoner, then the man that employed Pae to fight captured them, and was going to turn them in, they escaped thru the sewer and admitted to each other they don’t regret loving each other and saved each other from drowning, and then from there they have just been trying to get out of Dor.
