Oh no, a plot hole.

"Who you are is not defined by what you believe or what you say. Ultimately, it’s the legacy you leave behind defined by what
you’ve done and the choices that you’ve made because of your
circumstances. So, yes, he did have a choice and so did I."

The image of death playing with barbie dolls is amusing.

"I was lost in these thoughts when I heard someone gulp in despair.
I looked to my side and saw the gardener staring at me and the path of dead flowers and plants in my wake."

Oh no. Oh no no no. I think I see the hill where this road ends.

Whereas other authors reference dancers, singers, and models, Mr Bavar references fictional meetings with painters, psychologists, authors, and philosophists. I find myself constantly googling vague details and discovering new worlds of thoughts through this work.

Some of the transitions are slightly jarring. I do not know if the room with the candles is the same one with the table.

"I smiled and looked on as they flew overhead, following the path through the fields of wheat, painting an image that remained solely with me until Man did it justice; and he did. My decision was not in vain."

Oh my goodness. Mister Bavar, you did not warn me that I may just adore this tale!

He likes art.

I wonder how particularly believable that he would try to overtake his brothers. He hadn't been particularly competitive, but I think there was enough.

I enjoy the ways these four are described. It is also becoming clear that this author is a few levels above but shares some of my writing flaws. Double modifiers, long paragraphs, a certain long-windedness. It is eye-opening.
