Listening to the audiobook and I HATE it!! Can't even finish it.
I went into knowing it's a "retelling" of Stephen King's 'Carrie'. But it's just a blatant rip-off right down to the prayer closet. Hoped there would be more of a spin other than the race and racism component, although it is because of these components that I had hope in this book.
Might come back to it and actually read it but for now I'm done.
