I've decided to do another full year read, and this time it'll be War and Peace. It seems there are other people doing the same thing, which will be great because I'm worried this will be a bit over my head and I'd like to have someone to discuss this with.

End of Book Two. Tolstoy really knows how to end each section. There's always some elegant passage about the beauty of the world, leaving childhood behind, or the possibility of a fresh start.

Falling behind. I'm current only Book One, Part Two, Chapter 9, wherein Andrei brings what he thinks is good news to the Austrian command, but he doesn't get the hero's welcome he'd built up in his head.
