I do not yet know the theme from how little I have read, but I do no what is happening in the story. A girl named Lucy who fended for herself for about 2 months in a deserlet wasteland once known as NY. She lives in central park and found a boy around her age that saved her from a neer death who is now helping her live. Now they have to survive against bandits, the infected, and nature itself.

I can't believe that Lucy is the cure to the Sans. The Sans are a group of infected that may be still sick or not but in any case have a disease that makes their bodies' deterierate from the inside out. I am shocked that she has a certain kind of blood that isthe cure for the Sans!

I think that the theme is about trust. From the book it talks about certain events that led to trust. Lucy at first thought of the Sans as crazy people. But they just happen to look weird. This shows that you should trust people more and not judge on how they look.

I am very suprised of how the story unfolded. It is amazing how Lucy found Aidan's hide out which was attacked later on. I think that she was very brave for leaving her home walking for such a long time. I can't wait to see what will happen next.
