last night I searched up the words I dont know from this book (an old professor made us keep a journal doing this as an assignment) and afterwards, checked the word-of-the-day's out of curiosity. the way I saw the word of the day for the very first day of the year, amortization, in today's chapter!! i swear to god if u saw my face my eyes FLEW open and I ran to tell my sister who just called me a nerd BUT HELLO???

since I took a break from books for two months I'm going to ease back in by rereading something:) just grabbed from my shelf this morning to hit the ground running.. also got to pick up 2 books on hold at the library today lol

i really really Really love how much this book is tempered by well written characters couched in their relationships. also i teared up when george allen was in the hospital and is talking to mark

for once i was influenced by a review and bought this.. and am pleasantly surprised.. sweet and funny and also historically accurate enough that i don't get annoyed by sugar coating anything. gonna stop here for today because i can and will devour this book in a day
