Today I read Chapter 15 which speaks of the 4th Law - Make It Satisfying. I love that the author writes that delaying gratification has long-term benefits in that the more immediate the pleasure, the more strongly one should question whether they action aligns to one's values.
Great way to spot whether you're still on track.

Effective habits arise out of having systems or processes in place that serve the person you would like to become. Who you want to be is more sustainable than an outcome-based model (i.e. goals).
Clear also writes about the science of habits and how our brains become wired through cues, craving, response, and reward.
