You may think by this point I don't really care for this book... I've started drinking... you may not be wrong.

Dammit I cannot turn off my brain for this one. 3 weeks into the campaign with 2 assassination attempts and somehow, someway no one hears of this elsewhere in the world? No, really. I understand how this works. We're getting an alternate POV on events already happened. I know it's from the other side of the party line but seriously. Terrorist acts of assassination attempts usually do not go so quietly.

I remember laughing raucously when you found out the Masons had only the minimal security required by law in the house that sometimes allowed for certain frivolity such as the siblings identifying themselves as each other due to the quality of the voice recognition. Now the author has flipped that on its head and made it terrifying if one is not from a country where their speech patterns are easily identifiable.

If I'm being honest I'm a little weirded out by the fact that any Irwin would willing call the PD to help them out. For one the color or my skin for two even in fiction this is a not a world where any self respecting newsie would make a call like that. I'm trying to let that go... I'm trying really hard.
