I like it well enough so far. The prose isn’t very interesting, and I won’t give it a pass for that because I’ve read other sociological books and journal articles that were far more pleasurable to sink my teeth into. Lots of “for example,” “not just X but Y,” “From A to B, C to D,” etc. I guess it reminds me a lot of ChatGPT prose, which is difficult to ignore. But the reflections are interesting!
