IV & V. having trouble collecting my thoughts on this book. not what I expected. seems so far an acute study of that alien: the believer. the worldly one grown sick of the world who then bolts like a deer to its opposite - spirituality/God/whatever - for a new direction. the unchecked optimism in belief and free will is a bit hard to take, really.
