Only 51 pages in and I can already tell it is much darker. The last part I read was actually hard to read for me. It bothered me. That is how you know you are dealing with a good author. Joe brings you in and makes you a part of this world and has you rooting or booing the characters. Like Quentin Tarantino does with his films. Joe Chianakas does not use pen and ink. He writes with a Raven quill dipped in venom.
