I’m enjoying the immersion. She notices that Dr. Carver acts in variable behavior. I was really touched how Lorena helped Sonora. Lorena reflects on how her family and current situation. There’s a new life with people who are starting to see the talent of Sonora. It’s tough training. Georgie, the youngest of the Carvers notes that Sonora has it with riding without anything. I like the pacing and writing.

No nothing on the horse.Sonora will need the strength & endurance and the mental energy to figure it out.Sonora is getting a lecture from Allen. Enemies to lovers trope is always a safe bet and most likely the best I see here. She needs this place to be more home after riding all day.I like her narration.The dynamic with Allen & Sonora is now little more connected after the cold water immersion.It’s awkward moment.

Allen is the son of Dr Carver and the daughter is Lorena (Dr. Carver); Al doesn’t welcome her and tries to play some verbal games with Sonora. Not all that welcoming. Mystery… too, huh. Doc says that Mr. Grover is seeking trouble on the “welfare” of the horses. Al is a common denominator for stirring trouble.I love the vocabulary of everyone. I can feel and be in the scene as Sonora greets the horses and I love this part of the book. If anything, this reminds me of the horse therapy I do weekly. It’s refreshing to be with Sonora.

Fast paced. I find that Sonora is feeling challenged. She learns about how Dr. Carver likes a very presentable person and is from a prestigious family. Dr. Carver talks weirdly about his son in both great and unflattering ways- how Allen is a wayward guy but does get the horses to do what must be done for the show. I think the stage reminds me of the circus that moves to towns quickly? I really enjoy the audiobook to

The way she waits.She couldn’t do numbers- the anticipation weighing on her. Her sister, her mother love her so deeply.Sonora keeps her skills fresh but she showed up to the event & Dr. W. F. Carver kind of had a do I know you with Sonora.Thankfully Sonora pipped in and got her chance to confirm this is what she is meant to do. I like that she analyzed the act- that was very smart of her.Sonora’s thematics ❤️

I really relate to Sonora on the level of how she functions as a young adult. I feel that her mother is giving her permission to perhaps use her different talents into this act that she saw advertised in the newspaper. It shows how getting out of your comfort zone could pay off… also the meet up is most interesting in other dynamics with the rich people and their desire for interesting show stuff? Idk. Great audiob
