If I were the author I would change the fact that Ella doesn't have friends. I would want her to have one good friend to confide in. Since Ella doesn't have any one to truly trust she's alone and it kinda makes the story boring and sad. I would make the story a little more fun with one good friend. This last week I read 100 pages.

The conflict in my story is when a girl named Ella is taken in by her fathers best friend after her father and mothers deaths. When she arrives at what is to be her new home the man who brought her has five sons that think she's a gold digger. When she's at school the boys are mean to her and encourage others to be mean to her as well. Next week I hope to read 100 pages.

I wouldn't like to be a character in this story because the books characters are to open about things and mean. This book is about a girl who had to do tuff jobs to get money until her dad (who she didn't even know about) friend rescued her and takes her to his mansion where his sons are really mean to her. If the story loosens up and everyone is calming down I might enjoy being a character.
