skimming thru this book. 3 things annoy me: 1. can we have real paragraphs please, instead of one sentence paragraphs one after another; 2. the characters have no personality and are totally emotionally flat; 3. i don't know why any particular detail matters at any particular moment. the narrative logic is kind of all over the place.
