The author makes the reader consider multiple tragedies by saying how the main character has lost her brother and lives under a strict household and how the neighbor of the main charter have might have lost their father in the war so you consider who tragedy is worse.

The writer Markus Zusak makes the reader feel like their in Nazi Germany. The writer uses very descriptive details to make the reader feel like their in the story. Overall the writer uses a very descriptive way of writing.

Throughout the book I have been very intreastested in the book this book makes me feel like I am in the story.
