Hugh J Courtney's introduction: "Think of all the tremendous number of electrical power transmission lines around the earth. All this is akin to massive spider web, both visible and invisible, which is forming to shield us from receiving cosmic energies needed to sustain life with spiritual depth on Earth" I'm a little thrown off by this idea.
