How is J.k. Rowlings life incorporated into the books? When she was younger she went to a very old school with roll top desks. The building was made out of a bunch of stone bricks so that is where she picked up the idea to have the school be a big stone castle. Also in an interview she said that the teach in the school was very mean and frightened her.

Harry just had a dream about his godfather Sirius being tortured by Voldemort. Instantly after he sees this he believes it instantly. I think that J. K. Rowling put this part into book number one because it is a good part of the book, but number two to show people how people see something they want to believe so they believe it instantly even though it is not always true. This part of the book kind of frustrates me.

In a way I can not believe that J. K. Rowling put o much bad stuff to happen in this book. First Harry is banned from Quidditch, next People die, and professor snape is being mean to harry during occlumency. I don't know why the aouthor is doing this in this book.

Harry Potter just had a vision of someone being attacked by a snake.The strange thing is, is that he was the snake. Harry Potter thought he was being possessed by Lord Voldemort. He decided to shut himself off from everyone else to protect them. While I was reading this I compared it to bullying. Other people made him feel bad so he hid from everyone else. I wonder if this was what J. K. Rowling was trying to achive.

The new defense against the dark arts teacher, Professor Umbridge is probably the rudest person I have ever read about. She gave Harry Potter detention and made him cut into his skin "I must not tell lies" for three days straight. I think that professor Umbridge is a representation of a real life vampire she has the exact characteristics of a vampire. Sometimes she wants to punish so bad she bypasses the law.

I think that J.K Rowling put a lot of thought into the start of this book. Although the first chapter was kind of boring, she made the rest stand out. I think that she had to think a lot about how to write Harry Potter's hearing. The hearing was showing that if you are afraid of something you can bypass the law and make un-rational actions.Cornelious Fudge(the minister of magic)wanted to put Harry in jail fo nothing.

While I was reading my book, Mr. Johnson came up to me and started talking to me about dementors and monsters in general. He told me that monsters are just a true representation of us and what we have inside us. A Vampire is soulless, has no reflection, drinks blood, has no shadow. These are things that people hide in themselves.Drinking blood means like feeding off people.Expressing negativity until they feel empty

That stat of this book was really boring. The chapter started off and it did not really peak my interests. I think that the stat of this book could have been a little bit more interesting. So far two people have been attacked by creatures and have had major consecuences.
