Okay, between the teenage-romantic-drama and the dying-child-amidst-the-plague-tryna-save-his-sister-melodrama, I could say this book is giving me whiplash. Although these sections are tonally different, they’re all tied together by beautiful prose that goes borderline purple sometimes.
