No one talks about the pain of wanting to stay in contact with your family, but knowing you can never do that, because of what they stand for.
I am NOT dogging on conservatives btw, many are real chill. MY parents are the racist, homophobic, transphobic, overall bad type, that's all.

Omg it hurts so much 💔😔 I’m going through a similar thing 💔 it’s hard because everyone says they try to understand why I support this stuff but in reality they aren’t trying very hard

I've got a lot of conservative and MAGA family members, and slowly realizing that and mourning them while they're alive is incredibly difficult. if you ever need to talk, i'm here <3

This is so real… It sucks because you make excuses for them until you can’t anymore… and knowing that there’s family that I won’t invite to my wedding because they think I’m a sinner is really hard to cope with. I’m forever grateful that my parents are supportive but it doesn’t erase the hurt of other people I cared about
the truth always comes to the light — when that happens? you’re forced to face those truths and make decisions on what is best for YOU. your overall health (mental, physical, emotional, spiritual) and your inner voice.some people try to put out your inner spark for no reason other than you’re shining so brightly and they can’t stand to see you doing better than them or moving in the right direction, etc.
