Holy cow, book 6 is a monster. Still enjoying it, though could have done without hearing about the lice (tho I understand the use of it as a plot device.) Having seen the show first, I get why things were foreshortened, like the organization of the Stephen Bonnet arc--though I still question why it took so long between his arrest and execution. Was the only reason was just so it happened after Bree had the baby?

Still very much enjoying this, though at the rate I'm reading, it's hurting my prospects of meeting my reading challenge goal for 2026. LOL

On book 5, finally. Very much enjoying these. More than I thought I would. I thought having seen the show would spoil things, but while the show stays fairly faithful to the books-with some marked changes-the books have so much more detail as to make them worth reading. If only there wasn't so much sex. LOL I'm no prude, I just find it boring, despite obvious attempts to change things up. No room to say more. ;-)
