assigned reading for my YAL class; i’m enjoying it, but i can tell that there are facet’s of the world building and lore that i’m missing out on without prior knowledge from the previous series. this made the first few chapters especially slow to get through. i guess on the bright side: if i enjoy this i'll be adding AEITA to my tbr
