For some reason, I can't stay with it. Perhaps I'm reading it because it was a gift, and not something I chose for myself. The first time, I almost reached 100 pages. Almost a year later, I began, again. This time reaching about 260. Usually, I love historical novels, especially in familiar settings. I'll push on.
