I'll be interested to hear what you think of the book. I couldn't shake its similarity to The Lord of the Rings, so I never finished it. But I know many people who rave about it and say, 'Read it! Read it!'

So far... to be fair, the similarity to The Lord of The Rings is very noticeable. But I'm only a quarter of the way through the first book and still getting acclimated to the World. I've read a lot of fantasy and while I've enjoyed a lot of it, I consider the Tolkien's the pinnacle. And things I've tried over the last 20 years to be disappointing. So after many recommending this series I'm finally breaking down and giving it a try. My fingers are crossed I won't ultimately be disappointed... The start of the first book has been kind of a slog so far but it's growing on me...

If you're enjoying it, that's the most important part of reading any book. I await your review!
