Liked this chapter some. More towards the people watching portion. Made me think of the fact that there was no constant entertainment at that time. And people watching was a perfectly viable Sunday.
Made me think of cool visuals that could play out in concert with this books message. Wondered if Camus would’ve liked it.
Overall I understand this book is about the ending. So I’m sticking around.

Finished chapter 1. I don’t like it so far. It’s giving film bro as a book. Lots of sun and heat motifs so I’m interested in that.
I think I’m reading a good translation of it. It’s blunt like how I think Camus would’ve wanted and maybe as he wrote it.
I tried listening to an audiobook for like a second and it was just too fluffy and not similar to my translation. Couldn’t get thru the intro. Yap much
