Why this 30 year old book and why now? Well, long story longer, I recently found it in my father's bag, (after he passed) from when he went to infusions this summer, and there is a bookmark at about an 8th or 10th the way through. I thought to read it "with" him. Turns out just after, it became the November Jewish Book Club Book as well. We shall see if that beautiful idea actually resonates and 'takes.'
