Unpopular opinion here: I feel like Callie should have made this a much slower burn than she did as far as the romance. Im not feeling any real tension or push for these characters right now even tho I know what their mission is (to this pt) like I did in book 1. Its also getting corny and trying to be too funny? Idk. Just not feeling as into this book as I was the previous book but Im holding out hope.
